She’s saved the lives of countless animals and was instrumental in ending the use and abuse of live animals in circuses all over the country. She is deeply grieved by the kidnappings and human rights violations occurring all day, every day in cities and towns across America. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that she would have stepped up to defend other humans against the horrors being inflicted. It’s who she is.
